Nu-Way Clean Energy’s vision is to harness new and efficient designs thus improving the quality of life of South Africans living in informal settlements.
Over the last two decades Ken Hall has designed award winning products for Satire, Cobb,Protostar, HGF Flame Technologies and currently the latest generation clean burning stove for the Nu-Hold Group, the LakiStar Stove and Nightlight.
The Nu-Hold Group, through its subsidiary, Nu-Way Housing Developments, has been extensively involved in the delivery of low cost I affordable housing since 1989. During this time, in excess of 55,000 housing units have been delivered throughout South Africa.
Ken Hall’s and the Nu-Hold team’s vision is to harness new and efficient stove designs and solar candle light thus improving the quality of life of South Africans living in informal settlements.
The Nu-Hold Group, through its shareholding in Nu-Way Clean Energy, the owner of the LakiStar Stove, aims to create direct marketing channels for fuel distribution and by doing so to create many new and sustainable jobs throughout South Africa. To achieve this vision of maximum local employment the Nu-Hold Group also seeks to localise production thereby increasing job creation potential.
