Ethanol or Methanol Clean Burning Fuel

The LakiStar “Clean Cooking” Stove uses an Ethanol or Methanol based fuel which keeps your family safer and is healthier to use than other dangerous and dirty fuels.

The extensive smell and smoke from dirty fuels is one of the possible causes of tuberculosis, heart disease, lung disease, lung cancer and asthma.

Ethanol or Methanol fuel does not blacken pots and can be extinguished with water, unlike Paraffin which is oil-based.

The LakiStar “Clean Cooking” Stove is only to be used with Ethanol or Methanol.

The increased efficiency of the newly developed Ethanol or Methanol stove will translate into an effective cost saving. Paraffin under production produces 40% more CO₂ than Ethanol or Methanol. For every litre of Ethanol or Methanol blend fuel produced instead of paraffin, about 1,4kg less CO₂ is emitted into the atmosphere. Assuming an average monthly usage of 15 litres per stove, this translates into 250kg less CO₂ emissions per stove per annum or 250 tonnes per 1,000 stoves per annum.
