LIMITED WARRANTY

Nu-Way Clean Energy (Pty) Ltd. warrants for a period of six months from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, that the LakiStar Clean Cooking Stove’s material and workmanship will be free of defects in terms and conditions as setout herein. The warranty is not transferable and is extended only to, the original purchaser. The purchaser is to keep the dated receipt as proof of purchase.

Nu-Way Clean Energy will replace or repair at its discretion, the complete stove or any part of the stove found to be defective. It is the responsibility of the customer at their own expense to arrange for the stove to be delivered to Nu-Way Clean Energy for repairs and for the collection after the repairs have been made. Should it be found that the damage or fault was a result of the manufacturer, then the stove will be repaired or replaced. The stove or any part that is repaired or replaced during the limited warranty period will be warranted in terms of the original limited warranty of six months. Nu-Way Clean Energy will not be held liable for special incidental or consequential damages. No other written or oral warranties are enforceable.

The warranty does not cover the following:

• Damage due to the misuse of the stove as a result of not conforming with the instruction manual or warnings provided with the purchase of the stove.
• Damage due to the use of any other fuel other than LakiStar Super Clean Fuel.
• Damage due to the improper maintenance of the stove which is not in accordance with the instruction manual provided with the stove.
• Replacement or repair of parts which are subject to normal wear and tear during the warranty period.
• Parts that may require replacement in connection with normal maintenance.
• Damage as a result of abuse, neglect, modification or self-repair of the stove.
• Damage due to origins, not attributable to manufacture or material defect.

Nu-Way Clean Energy, to the maximum extent permitted by law, make no warranties, expressed or implied and disclaim all warranties, duties and conditions, whether expressed, implied or statutory, with respect to the product, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, against latent defects, fitness for a particular purpose, or correspondence to description.

Limitation of remedies:

Should a court of law find the limited warranty as set out above is in breach, then Nu-Way Clean Energy’s only obligation will be to either repair or replace the product. The aforementioned remedy is the sole and exclusive remedy for the purchaser against Nu-Way Clean Energy.

The purchaser agrees that the directors, employees, affiliates and suppliers of Nu-Way Clean Energy (Pty) Ltd, will not be liable for any consequential and/or incidental damages arising from any cause associated with the products purchased from Nu-Way Clean Energy. Excluding the limited warranty provided above, Nu-Way Clean Energy, to the maximum extent permitted by law, make no warranties, expressed or implied and disclaim all warranties, duties and conditions, whether expressed, implied or statutory, with respect to the product, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, against latent defects, fitness for a particular purpose, or correspondence to description.

When the LakiStar Clean Cooking Stove is in use, certain parts will be hot to touch and the flame can cause serious injury and property damage. When in use the stove must not be left unattended and children and pets must be kept away from the stove. It is the responsibility of the user of the LakiStar Clean Cooking Stove as well as the LakiStar Super Clean Fuel to ensure that it is used in accordance with the instruction manual and is placed in a safe area to avoid becoming a fire hazard.

The purchaser indemnifies and agrees that Nu-Way Clean Energy (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for:

• Damage due to the use and / or misuse of the stove as a result of not conforming with the instruction manual or warnings provided with the purchase of the stove.
• Damage due to the use of any other fuel other than LakiStar Super Clean Fuel.
• Damage due to the improper maintenance of the stove which is not in accordance with the instruction manual provided with the stove.
• Replacement or repair of parts which are subject to normal wear and tear during the warranty period.
• Parts that may require replacement in connection with normal maintenance.
• Damage as a result of abuse, neglect, modification or self-repair of the stove.
• Damage due to origins, not attributable to manufacture or material defect.

Only use LakiStar Super Clean Fuel in your LakiStar Clean Cooking Stove.

Do not use other fuels such as paraffin in your stove as it will not work and will damage the stove.

In the unlikely event of a fire, the LakiStar Super Clean Fuel can be extinguished with water.

Like most other fuels, the LakiStar Super Clean Fuel is poisonous when ingested, keep out of reach of children, never drink and store in a cool place.
